5 Golden Globe Trends We Love

Kristen Wiig made us giggle,  Ryan Gosling made us weep and Meryl Streep made us fist pump the air. The Stranger Things kids made our hearts warm, Drew Barrymore proved she just keeps getting hotter and Emma Stone was her delightful self. Just another year at the Golden Globes. Obviously being a fashion company, we are super interested in what everyone is wearing. These were the trends that caught our eye.

Tickled pink…

Generally not a very popular choice on the red carpet,  yesterday saw an influx of this romantic shade. Everything from fuschia to soft blush tones made an appearance and (in particular) we were just SWOONING over Lily’s look. Shop pink dresses here.

Silver sparkles & sequins…

It makes me so happy how trendy sparkles and sequins are right now. My inner magpie is extremely pleased. Buy a silvery sequined number for a special occasion and then style down with sneakers and a tee to wear year round.

Yellow fever…

Turn heads in this bold hue only a lass with bucketloads of confidence can nail. Dip your toe into the trend by starting soft like the effervescent Reece, or go bold like Viola.

Show off your shoulders…

We’ve been seeing a LOT of off-shoulder styles for casual wear, so it makes sense that they’re now hitting the red carpet. Elegant, interesting and feminine; it looks like the style’s here to stay. Shop Showpo off-shoulder styles here.

Take the plunge…

Jaw-droppingly sexy, this style is sure to turn heads. I love this Showpo number with a plunging neckline, the pink shade keeps it day-wear appropes. Keep it classy with paired-back hair and minimal makeup.
